Task Mapping:
A task currently developed by UHPO to implement the new MIL-STD
40051B technical manual format and the conversion of existing data
into the government-owned Interactive Authoring Display System
(IADS). It is to integrate all available data within the maintenance
manuals and the RPSTL and tie each work package to a work unit code
thus allowing the user when entering a fault and WUC to be tied
directly to the procedure in the maintenance manual and the RPSTL.
This streamlines the soldier's task due to everything being tied
together.
Hawk Enterprises is teaming up with IADS development group to
provide the subject matter expertise and user's perspective
experiences to produce a quality, accurate, and user-friendly next
generation IETM.
